Mothers Against Drunk Driving

Drunk driving is the number one cause of death on our roadways. Two out of three people will be impacted by a drunk driving crash in their lifetime. Every two minutes someone is injured in a drunk driving crash and every 50 minutes, someone is killed.

Help Mothers Against Drunk Driving® (MADD®) by sharing our public service announcements (PSAs) with your audience. As the leading traffic safety, victim assistance and prevention resource, MADD® has a goal to create a future with No More Victims®.

MADD wants to turn excuses for driving after drinking into reasons to ride with a new PSA. The Reasons to Ride PSA calls attention to the common excuses people use for driving impaired. In contrasting scenes, impaired people recite an excuse followed by the same line rephrased as a reason to ride by a rideshare driver, train operator and bus driver. By sharing the PSA, you could save a life.

The fact is, fatalities and injuries due to impaired driving have increased, even though getting a safe ride has never been easier. Drunk driving impacts every American every day and MADD needs your support to help people reach their destinations safely.

Please consider sharing the Reasons to Ride PSA and remind your audience that there are no excuses for drinking and driving — there are only reasons to ride.
